Historical Reference

The Department of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy has its origins in 1996 (History and Present of the Department). It was organized as the Department of Recreation and Physical Rehabilitation, headed by the head of the department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor A. M. Tuchak. In 1999, as a result of the reorganization of the Department of Biological Foundations of Physical Education and the Department of Recreation and Physical Rehabilitation, the Department of Physical Rehabilitation was established, which was successively headed by Candidate of Medical Sciences, Professor B. P. Hreida, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor V. S. Pykaliuk, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor T. Y.
