Attended the 5th International Scientific Conference entitled “Security in Situations in the Border Regions of Poland and Ukraine”

On 17–18 November 2022, [Name] attended the 5ᵗʰ International Scientific Conference entitled “Security in Situations in the Border Regions of Poland and Ukraine” at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Organized under the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Poland–Belarus–Ukraine 2014–2020, the conference convened academics, policymakers, and security experts from both countries to:

Assess evolving security threats in frontier areas affected by geopolitical tensions and migration flows.

Share best practices in cross-border law enforcement, emergency response, and community resilience-building.

Discuss policy frameworks for enhancing cooperation between Polish and Ukrainian border agencies, NGOs, and local authorities.

Present case studies on border management during crises, including pandemic response, humanitarian assistance, and environmental hazards.

Through keynote lectures, panel discussions, and working groups, participants explored integrated strategies to safeguard human security, reinforce regional stability, and foster sustainable development in the Poland–Ukraine borderlands.
