Educational and scientific laboratory of social work
The Educational and Research Laboratory of Social Work was created on 29 September 2022.
The Laboratory is an educational and scientific subdivision of the University, which is created as part of the Faculty of Pedagogical Education and Social Work and unites research and teaching workers, applicants for the first, second and third levels of higher education in the field of 23 Social Work and is aimed at ensuring and developing the scientific and methodological components of specialist training, organising research work.
The main purpose of the Laboratory is to develop and test innovative methods, practices and technologies of social work, social support, social and educational activities, implement them in the educational process, carry out scientific research in the social sphere to solve social problems in accordance with the social policy of Ukraine and priority thematic areas of research activities of the University.
The main areas of activity of the Laboratory are:
The educational direction will contribute to the formation of professional competencies of social educators and specialists in social and educational work as a result of the introduction of innovative technologies of social, pedagogical and educational activities in the educational process based on the results of scientific research and in close cooperation with external stakeholders.
The social direction will contribute to the formation of professional competencies of specialists in social work and social welfare as a result of the introduction of modern technologies of social work and social support in the educational process based on the results of scientific research and in close cooperation with social institutions.
The main objectives of the activities of the Laboratory are:
- To organise, coordinate and carry out activities within the framework of the approved annual work plan of the Laboratory.
- Implementation of the results of the Laboratory's activities in the professional activities of specialists in social work, social pedagogy, social and educational work, social support and in the educational process.
- Promoting the improvement of the quality of training of specialists in social work, social pedagogy, social and educational work, social support through the implementation of close links between scientific research and the educational process of the department, faculty.
- Integration of scientific and innovative activities through cooperation, creation of consortia with higher education institutions, scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, industry-specific scientific institutions, state-owned enterprises, local governments, NGOs, international scientific institutions, etc.
- Publication of research results (except in cases related to confidentiality) at conferences, seminars, in scientific publications and on official websites.
- Ensuring the functioning and compliance with the requirements of state standards of the equipment located in the Laboratory.
