Scientific Research Work of the Department

• Scientific research is conducted within the general theme of the department "Development of models of rehabilitation influences in physical therapy and occupational therapy and evaluation of their effectiveness from the perspective of evidence-based medicine" (state registration number: 0119U001190 for 2019-2023).
• Within the general theme, scientific problem groups operate under the leadership of department members, involving students, master's students, and PhD students from various courses:

1. "Formation of adherence to modifying behavioral risk factors for myocardial infarction and stroke" (state registration number: 0124U002807) - head: Assoc. Prof. Sitovskyi A.M.;
2. "Research on the impact of corrective gymnastics, rationally organized nutrition, and occupational therapy tools on the physical condition and health of individuals with special educational needs" - head: Assoc. Prof. Hreida N.B.;
3. "Evaluation of the effectiveness of forming individual rehabilitation programs using the ICF" - head: Assoc. Prof. Ulyanytska N.Y.;
4. "Objective and subjective assessment of rehabilitation interventions in physical therapy and occupational therapy" - head: Assoc. Prof. Usova O.V.;
5. "Pathogenetic aspects of neurorehabilitation" - head: Assoc. Prof. Yakobson O.O.;

• The efforts of the faculty and teaching staff of the Department of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy annually conduct a Regional Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists "Modern Health and Rehabilitation Technologies," the materials of which are published in the periodic collection of scientific papers "Modern Health and Rehabilitation Technologies" (2020); (2021); (2022) (Certificate of state registration of printed media: KВ № 24863-14803 R issued on 25.06.2021).

• The best results of scientific research are presented at the annual scientific and practical conferences of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University: International scientific and practical conference of graduate students and students "Young Science of Volyn: Priorities and Research Prospects," International scientific and practical conference of young scientists, students, and graduate students "Current problems of the development of natural and humanitarian sciences." Within the conferences, competitions for the best report are held, which are awarded with appropriate diplomas.

• The results of scientific research are published in specialized publications in Ukraine and in publications included in the Scopus and Web of Science Core Collection bibliometric databases.
