1988 - Lesya Ukrainka Lutsk State Pedagogical Institute. Faculty of Natural Geography. Specialty: Geography and Biology - 01.18.00. Qualification (by diploma): Geography and biology teacher of high school.
2012 - Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences. M.P. Drahomanov National Pedagogical University (Kyiv). Specialty: 13.00.02 - theory and methods of teaching (biology). The title of the candidate's dissertation: "Student’s research skills formation in the process of studying biology in primary school".

From 1988 to the present - a teacher of biology at the Mykhailo Kravchuk Lutsk Gymnasium № 21.
2016 to present - Associate Professor of Theory and Methods of Teaching School Subjects Department in VIPPO.
2020 to present - Senior Lecturer of the Botany and Methods of Teaching Natural Sciences Department, Faculty of Biology and Forestry, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. Teacher of the highest qualification category, teacher-methodologist.

Professional honors, awards

For active work with gifted youth, in particular for successful preparation of students for national and international competitions, Jagenska G. was awarded:

• Diplomas of the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science,
• Order of Merit of the III degree (2009),
• Order of Merit of the II degree (2015).
• In 2011 she became the Laureate of the annual award of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to pedagogical workers.
• In 2020, she was awarded the title of "People's Teacher of Ukraine".
  

SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS

Methodical support of biology teachers, use of international experience in methods of teaching natural sciences, conducting seminars with biology teachers, preparing students for Olympiads and biology tournaments.

GRANT ACTIVITY

• Work in a group of development a new curricula for natural education for NUS (led by T.M. Zasekina, Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine).
• Participant of the international (Ukrainian-Israeli) project "10 minutes of school" - "10minschool.ua", where she recorded 31 biology lessons used in Ukraine for distance learning
