Educational and methodical work
Educational and methodological work at the department is aimed at solving tasks to improve the quality of specialist training based on a comprehensive approach to enhancing the content, organization, and methods of teaching. The main directions of the department's methodological work include analyzing the provision of the educational process with scientific and methodological literature, forming current plans for the publication of textbooks, teaching and instructional materials, and guidelines to ensure the teaching of academic disciplines in accordance with modern requirements for the level of specialist training. The department uses information and communication technologies by uploading electronic resources to the Moodle repository; utilizing Microsoft Teams as an online service for teamwork, which provides functions for communication among participants in the educational process within a single workspace; creating their own electronic presentations, tests, and methodological support for the educational process; and developing methodological recommendations for planning, organizing, and monitoring students' independent work. To improve professional skills, the department’s academic and pedagogical staff participate in educational and methodological seminars, conferences, open and instructional-methodological sessions, masterclasses, webinars, and practical training.
The department’s Scientific and Methodological Commission is a structural unit of the faculty's Scientific and Methodological Commission, which performs functions related to the organization, planning, and control of scientific and methodological work, internships, and advanced training of academic staff at scientific and educational institutions in Ukraine and abroad, concluding agreements with clinical practice bases, conducting industrial and clinical practices for students, monitoring the writing of students' scientific qualification papers, and overseeing the work of examination commissions. The academic staff of the department work on the problem of forming students' personalities, fostering tolerance towards others, and motivating them for future professional activities. In the process of Ukraine's integration into the unified European and global educational space, the efforts of the department’s Scientific and Methodological Commission are focused on improving the quality of specialist training and ensuring the competitiveness of university graduates. To this end, the department’s academic staff introduce new teaching technologies into the educational process, using electronic courses of educational components that have access to the Internet.
